Foxy American Pit Bull Terrier Young Female in Columbia, Missouri

My story
Foxy is the cutest, stubby-legged dog you've not met yet (but you definitely should)! She has previously lived with a big dog, but that's about the only information we know about her. She's a bit shy at first, but once warms up to you, she'll be your best friend!

Here is what a volunteer had to say after walking Foxy on the Bear Creek Trail 8/21:

"Foxy is a very sweet, laid back pup who enjoyed a little bit of exercise and a lot of lounging in the shade; however, if you ask Foxy to play with you she will immediately jump up! Foxy is incredibly attentive with her humans. Even if she doesn't understand the command, she is constantly trying to make you happy! I really enjoyed seeing her find a nice shady corner on the trail and begin rolling around in the grass :) "

"Foxy was very sweet once she warmed up. She got comfortable pretty quickly and enjoyed the walk, but was definitely too hot outside for a longer walk."

How did I react when I saw/met unknown adults outside? Wasn't too concerned with the adults. Kept walking along.
